PRODUCTION CHAIN
LEAVE BEHIND THE WHERE, THINK ABOUT THE HOW
We've been told time and again to look at the "Made in" label on the products we buy. What if we told you we need to go beyond the "where it was made" and consider the "how"? What are the working conditions of the workers in each factory? What types of materials do they work with?
At Blue Banana, we believe that a location is much more than the stigma it carries. That's why we're proud that our production is split between Europe and Asia. And, yes, we say proud because we work with the best factories in Spain and Portugal, but we also have excellent collections from China, Bangladesh, and Turkey. In each country, we work with companies that ensure the safety of their workers and carry out rigorous inspections to ensure favorable working conditions. Furthermore, we believe that avoiding production in countries like Bangladesh can be more harmful than beneficial, especially for the 4 million people in the area who make a living from the textile industry.
Transparency is key, and we are committed to continuing to learn and evolve toward a better future, not only for our planet, but also for the people who make Blue Banana the way we know it. It is essential for us to understand the working conditions of both our own employees and those in our supply chain. To this end, we developed our Human Rights Policy , which ensures these criteria are met throughout the entire supply chain.
